About Us

Cat Camp has been making art since she was old enough to hold a crayon to the wall. Her 1st exhibition was at age 8, when her grandfather entered 2 of her Bald Eagle drawings in a show for children at his bank in Atlanta, GA. Her pieces took both 1st & 2nd place; proving to her that art was worth the time & effort. Despite her mother's best efforts, Cat was often caught redhanded, drawing on herself & others with pens, markers & paint. Formative years found her inking her own & her schoolmates jeans & notebooks; often being paid for commissioned work.Her formal face painting began in 1983 at the Minnesota Renaissance Faire in an effort to raise enough money to get home to Tampa in time for her marriage to Paul Camp. Cat & Paul celebrated their 25th anniversary at Halloween of 2008.

With the advent of the PC & the World Wide Web, Cat has gleefully entered the network of professional face & body painters from all points of the globe. She has competed & won competitions in the US & hopes one day to attend & compete in some of the conventions outside the country.
